Valentine’s Class Gift Ideas

preschoolears: Mickey Valentines

Are you looking for some simple class Valentine ideas? I love simple ideas. Frankly, I don’t have time to be complicated. So here are a couple simple ideas for some Valentine gifts that kids will love! There are also links to some previous ideas we have shared that kids have loved including our popular Star Wars valentines!

“Sweet” Hersheys Bar Valentines Wrappers

We purchased a pack of card stock paper in purples and pinks. Then we handed out Hershey’s bars with our simple wrapper. To be honest, I’m not sure any of the candy bars made it home since all the kids were so excited to get a Hershey’s bar! We purchased the large box of Hershey’s bars at Costco.

Pop Rocks Valentines

These were a big hit! Kids love Pop Rocks and this simple wrapper makes it a simple and fun Valentine. It is a little bit harder to find a large amount of Pop Rocks. I did these Valentine’s for my son and daughter’s class last year and I purchased a large box of three flavors of Pop Rocks on Amazon. That was cheaper than buying them all at a local store. Then I matched the paper color to the flavor. I used simple craft card stock for the paper.

Jake & the NeverLand Pirates Valentine

Sofia the First Valentine

Sofia & Jake Valentines

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and with four kids having Valentine’s parties at school, we are busy with lots and lots of Valentine’s at our house! Since we are big Disney fans, our kindergartner wanted to have her favorite Disney princess for her Valentines. We thought it would be fun for each of her “princess” friends in class to get to make their own Sofia necklace for Valentine’s Day, so here are our Sofia valentines. Each bag includes an elastic band for stringing, and purple gems, pearl beads, and purple and white beads.

Now most boys in class don’t want to make a sparkly, princess necklace so we came up with a fun Jake valentine for all the pirate fans! Each boy gets a treasure of gold chocolate coins and Hershey’s chocolate nuggets. We found the cute pirate coins at World Market. Here is our Jake valentine.

Star Wars Valentine

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and if you are still scrambling to pull together all your kid’s Valentines, I wanted to share one I created for my son this year. I confess, the idea was not mine, but I created this one together for him. We were trying to not give out candy this year, and give fun alternatives.

The “lightsaber” is simply a glow-in-the-dark bracelet – I purchased packs of them from the $1 bins at Target. I printed these on 65# cardstock. I used a single hole punch to make a large hole for the glow stick (I punched it twice) and I taped the stick to the back to hold in place.

If you would like to make some Star Wars themed Valentines this year, I have included a link to the download for free. Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!
