Disney World

dining

Walt Disney World offers a huge variety of dining experiences, which can be overwhelming for a family's first time visit. Dining options are abundant at parks, resorts and the Downtown Disney District. There are different distinctions of dining options that include table serve, quick serve or counter serve, and character dining. There are also special dining experiences and dinner shows. Reservations are available and highly recommended for table serve, character dining, dinner shows and special dining experiences.

Those staying on property at Disney World can purchase a Dining Plan. There are five choices for the Dining Plan: Quick-Serve Dining Plan, Dining Plan, Deluxe Dining Plan, Premium Plan and Platinum Plan. Click on button below for a summary of all the plans for 2013. Information for 2014 is coming soon.

Preschoolears Dining Plan Summary

Restaurants have been rated and reviewed by our panel of parents based on selection and nutrition offered for children, as well as how their kids actually liked the food. Some restaurants have fabulous cuisine, but may not really appeal to children so their rating is low. Comments come from our parents as well. Restaurants are divided by land/area within each park. With so many restaurants, our panel hasn't tried each one, so some reviews and ratings may be blank at this time.

Preschoolears does not review bars and lounges, or pool side dining.

If you are staying on property, you can start making ADR 180 days out from your first night stay. To make your ADR, visit the Disney World website or calling (407) WDW-DINE.
